When purchasing ram make sure all the numbers match up with your computer and take into account that many computers cannot utilized all of the ram's potential. One piece of advice- you need a Philips Size #00 screwdriver to open the door on the RAM compartment of the MacBookPro. I had to search all over town and eventually bought one at a small electronic supply store.
